Haha good advice. I did not realized that there is a solution manual for MWG till I was in the job market. But as first year student, you should work on the problem sets by yourself before looking up the solutions. All of you first-years should beware that there are many well-known mistakes in the MWG solutions manual; some of them are typos but some are just plain wrong.
