A Tiny Mouse With a Big Gift In Dick King-Smith's A Mouse Called Wolf, Wolfgang Amadeus Mouse is the smallest of thirteen Mouse children, and that is why his mother gives him a grand name. But he always loses at his siblings' games and they tease him badly, giving him the nickname 'Wolf.' The other mice tease Wolfgang by calling him Wolf, but he actually likes the nickname. Wolf Makes a Friend Wolf's singing quickly draws the attention of the house cat. While trying to get away, Wolf and Mary end up stuck inside the piano! The good news is that the cat's tail gets pinched in the process, making him forever after afraid of mice. The bad news is that Wolf and Mary can't get out!
