Usually, Honda sells a Service Manual with more technical detail than the owners manual. I can't seem to find one for the 2016 Pilot.

Anyone have a lead? I obtained the Warranty manual and a complete Owner's manual from Helm, Inc. For no charge. You have to dig around in the abbreviated Owner's manual that came with the vehicle to find the information on how to order these manuals. Helm does not yet list the full blown Service manuals on their site. The availability of the Service manuals normally lags the introduction of a new model year by several months. New Information: Look in the Pilot 2016 owner's Guide (the blue cover manual).

Go to the 4th paragraph on the page facing the 'Table of Contents' page and you will find the necessary instructions. Page facing the TOC. Request a complimentary Owner's Manual. I'm guessing that references the 900 page version downloadable from. That definitely goes into a little more detail about the car, but the Service Manual gets real technical. It provides troubleshooting tips and repair processes for almost everything on the car. For instance a front bearing replacement or suspension replacement.

Should you choose to lower the car and put the 20s on. Not that I can do 90% of the documented work, but its nice for research and to understand work to be performed on the car. I'll sit tight for a bit. I think folks are right that the Service Manual (Helms or OEM) is a bit behind. I'll check with my super helpful car salesman with his 15% off. I'm hoping its not online subscription based only. I don't want to come across rude, but the Service Manual is not the same as the Owners Manual.

The Owners Manual is basic maintenance and operation of vehicle features, available for download. The Service Manual goes into technical details of the vehicle (ie. Body, suspension, interior, electronics) for non-Honda techs or DIYers. Typically it provides steps to replace / repair issues which may arise, or for vehicle customization (ie.

Swapping minimal dust ceramic brake pads or disabling the third row access button). Seems as though Honda has chosen to provide this in a subscription format accessible. Personally I find the electronic version much more accessible. Store it to Dropbox or Drive for access anywhere. Print the pages that you need for the repair or maintenance. Reprint the pages when they get greasy and unreadable. I don't want to come across rude, but the Service Manual is not the same as the Owners Manual.

So I can just pay the 1 day subscription and download the entire Service Manual as a PDF I assume? I'm curious also, and will probably try once the 2016 Pilot Service Manual is listed. If you dig into 'whats available', it looks as though none of the 2016 vehicles are listed as Rick mentioned above. I think you'll be able to browse and print all sections, but unlikely to have a one-click option to print the whole book.

I don't recall exactly, but previous Service Manuals for my other vehicles have been $50 - $100 for the set. $10 would be too easy. I'll have to do a forum search for other experiences with Service Express. For now, bernardiparts.com has many of the exploded views which show individual parts and allows ordering of replacements. My center console / cupholder trim was lightly blemished. With labor its probably a $50 - $80 job to replace, but the trim piece is only $20. EDIT: Came across this doc that provides an overview of the interface: So it seems like you can print (pdf) sections, but it would be really nice to follow the links to related topics.

Seems like a hell of a time trying to name and organize sections.
